Concrete Loop is a fairly popular black gossip site. You’ll understand that I won’t link to them. One of their contributors, B. Scott, is gay. Because many of their commenters were more turned on by their homophobia, than their latest hit of bullshit celebrity gossip, CL fired him. Too many so-called Christians and others, are way too far into this fuckery. Stop it, goddammit!
Kwame Kilpatrick, the self-described ‘hiphop mayor’ of Detroit just had a kitchen sink of indictments thrown at him. Misconduct in office, obstruction of justice, conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice and perjury are the charges, with a potential of 80 years in jail, if convicted on all counts.
Let me be clear: I never really liked the guy. Never mind why.
But since jailing people for perjury, which I believe is the only one that’ll stick; has become quite the exclusive smackdown for public people. Martha Stewart, Lil Kim (yeck!), and Marion Jones, have all been convicted of it. Barry Bonds was recently indicted for 4 counts of perjury.
What’s wrong with this picture? Where are perjury indictments for George W. Bush, Turdblossom (Cheney), Donald Rumsfeld, Jack Straw, and Colin Powell?
After all, Martha Stewart, Marion Jones, and Barry Bonds haven’t murdered anyone. Bush, Turdblossom, Rumsfield, Straw, and Powell, have legions of corpses they engineered with their lies. I can’t be sure that Lil Kim hasn’t, so I won’t include her. But where is the justice here?
